Title Wottle Vodrlint Family in Rožmitál pod Třemšínem in Zentralböhmen und Wien, Österreich mit Wurzeln in Gündlingen, Breisach, Baden
Description

Nachfahren des Auswanderers Anton WOTTLE / WOTTLING aus Gündlingen im Breisgau. WOTTLE hat sich ca. 1788 als pensionierter kk österreichischer Soldat in Rožmitál pod Třemšínem in Zentralböhmen verheiratet und viele Nachkommen gehabt. Die Schreibweise des Namens hat sich dort einige Male von WOTTLING zu VODRLING geändert, schließlich wurde daraus offiziell VODRLINT und VODRLIND, alle tschechischen Nachfahren heißen so. Einige sind später nach Wien gewandert und schrieben sich WODRLINT, aber auch VODRLINT kommt dort vor. Grundlagen waren die tschechischen Matriken von Rožmitál sowie von Matrikula für Wien und Umgebung. Das wichtigste an dieser Arbeit war zu belegen, dass die VODRLINT / VODRLIND / WODRLINT auf einen WOTTLE aus dem Badischen zurückgehen, dass also die Namensänderungen nachvollzogen werden können.
Da es hier um die Namensträger geht liegt der Schwerpunkt auf den männlichen Linien. Abkömmlinge weiblicher Linien kommen vor, sind aber die Ausnahme.
Für Gündlingen existiert seit Juli 2023 ein Ortsfamilienbuch "Die Familiengeschichte von Gündlingen 1600-1910" erhältlich im Cardamina- Verlag Koblenz, Autor Andreas Zipfel-Waag, ISBN: 978-3-86424-620-3
