Gestorben alt : 80 Jahre ohne Angabe von Gründen. Hans Rifesel wird am 03.02.1656 / 18.10.1657 / 12.09.1658 / 02.10.1660/ 17.01.1664 / 07.01.1666 / 30.03.1666 / 28.08.1666 / 10.02.1667 / 20.11.1670 / 17.12.1676 als Pate genannt. Im Jordebuch von 1692/94 ist das Jordebuch der Börde Sittensen von 1657 abgedruckt, und gibt das 1. Mal Zeugnis von den Verhältnissen : ...unter den 3 halben Höfen Hof 3 : Hans Rifesel ( RIBESEHL ), Claus vonZesterfleten auf Bergfried zugehörig ( er war Bauer auf Johanns Hof ). Am 23.09.1679 ist seine Ehefrau als Patin genannt. Er starb im Altervon 80 Jahren. In der Scheeßler Chronik wird er 1651 auf dem Hof genannt. In der Spezifikation 1682 wird er mit einer Abgabe genannt: RIEVESEHL Hanß, selig ( obwohl noch lebend ), dessen Sohn Lütke ( ebenfallsmit einer Abgabe ). Hieraus wird geschlossen, daß Claus den Hof um 1682 vom Vater übernahm, selbst 1685 nach Westeresch einheiratete und seinem Bruder Hinrich den Hof weitergab. Am 29.01.1665 als Pate in Abbendorf laut Register genannt, muß dennoch Sothel heißen. Anno 1657 im Constributionsregister zum Sothel als Halbhöfner des Grundherren Bargfrede von Zesterfeld erwähnt.
