Anno 1536 im 16-Pfennigschatz als Halbhöfner zu Westeresch genannt. . Anno 1536 wird just nach der Hofübergabe auf No.8, später CARSTENS genannt, Carsten HOLSTEN genannt. Es ist zu vermuten, und es liegt nache,daß der Hof kurz vor 1536 geteilt wurde, Johann seinem älteren Sohn Carsten einen Teil (1/2) abgab, seine Hälfte noch bis ca. 1540 weiterführte und ann an den Sohn Johann die verbleibene Hälfte des alten Hofesweitergab. Johann ist Wirt auf Hof No. 9 der später nach seinem Sohnoder Enkel, beide heißen Lütke Holsten "LÜTEN" genannt wird. Der Halbhof No. 9 und der Halbhof No. 8 zu Westeresch, sind einst aus der Teilung eines Vollhofes vor 1536, und werden über die Jahrhunderte zusammenveranlagt. .
