Er ist der 1. Wirt auf MIES zum Bostel. Noch 1567 gab es einen alten Vollhof ebenda, der zwischen 1568 und 1583 geteilt wurde in den 2/3 HofNr.1, später HILMERS genannt und den 1/3 Hof Nr. 2 später MIES genannt. Als Vollhöfner wurde 1567 Tietke BASSEN ebenda genannt. Es ist keine Verbindung oder Annahme zu finden, wie Johann an den Hof kam.Vielleicht wurde der Hof um 1573 im Rahmen der Einführung des Evangeliums imKirchspiel und der Einführung der evangelischen Vogtei Scheeßel geteilt. 2 Wirte sind sicherer als einer werfen mehr Gewinn für die Vogtei ab ?
