The baptism records for their five children are slightly confusing as some read "Courtelary-Sonvilier" and others "Sonvilier". Courtelary and Sonvilier are two villages in the Valley of St. Imier, about 10km apart. This entry could eventully mean the family lived in Sonvilier and some of the children were baptized in Courtelary (or vice-versa).
