3rd Laird of Dalkeith; Knighted: Bef. June 1441bly the 2nd Lord of Dalkeith; of unsound mind, so declared by Act of Parliament 22 May 1441, a circumstance which his step-mother and brothers seem to have taken material advantage of to the detriment of his infant son's interest; died between 8 Sept 1456 (when he resigned his lands in favour of his son) and 14 March 1457/8.
