They took up land at White Hil l nearGruberg wherethey farmed for the next 10 years. Then the familymoved to afarm near Hoyleton where they remained till about theyear 1894when he bought land at Mannu. It seems as though heretai nedsome interest in land at Hoyleton. His wife passed awayon 27thSeptember, 1904 and was buried in the Hoyleton cemetery.Ninechildren, 7 sons and 2 daughters were born to the marriage.Atthe age o f 69 Ernst Hermann re-married. His second wifebeginRosina Helene Schwartz nee Huckel, a sister of his firstwife.The marriage was performed in his own home near Mannum byPastorL.E. Kuss.
