Friedrich Wilhelm Just 1803-69 & Friedrike ChristianeHenrietteSchubert (Just) 1813-89 from Neumark Silesia to,SouthAustralia, descendants also N.S.W., Western Australia andatleast five of their chi ldren emigrated to, South Australia,atleast two of the sons late 1850's, the remainder of thefamily1862. They were from Neumark Silesia (Neumark, Schlesien),aGerman speaking region of the then coun try Prussia (regionlaterpart of Germany, now of Poland). Friedrich and Friedrikewereborn there, and married 1835.Bethel is near BarossaValley,north of Adelaide and then was mainly a farming community ofGerman speakers of the Moravia. In, South Australia, theywentto Bethel. Excepting for son Carl August Just who wenttoN.S.W., the children and many further descendantsremainednearby or furthe r north around Petersburg (includingDawson,Terowie, Parnaroo) where from 1875 the governmentreleased landfor purchase; . In 1917 Petersburg was renamedPeterborough.
