Notes for this person
Robert Theodore Sisco was named for a Captain in the Civil War unit of his father, William Walker Sisco, and he went by the name "Captain" or "Cap." He was born 30 AUG 1865 in Dry Branch in Lewis Co., Tennessee and died 24 APR 1945 in Nevada, Collin City, Texas. When he died, his body was put on a train and shipped back to Tennessee for burial in the Sisco Family Cemetery at Dry Branch in Lewis County, Tennessee, next to his first wife, Louella Jordan. After Louella Jordan Sisco died, Cap married Julia Horner from Perry County, Tennessee and moved to Texas with his three children from his first marriage. He owned a large farm in Collin County and had six more children.
