[Bill's Nutt.FTW] Sid was a Lamb County sheriff from 1948 to 1952. He then was business manager and tax assessor for Littlefield public schools. At the time of his death, he was in the real estate business. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 1161. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church on Jan. 12, 1979 at 2:00 p.m., Charles Broadhurst and Wesley Daniel, officiating. Hammons Funeral Home.
