Birth: Jan. 19, 1818, Germany Death: Oct. 28, 1903 Williamsport Lycoming County Pennsylvania, USA Daily Gazette & Bulletin Oct 29 1903 Mrs Catherine Jonas, 86 years old of Franklin Street, burned to death in a pantry where she rushed when her clothes took fire after lighting a paper in the stove. Mrs Jonas lived with her daughter Mrs. John Bornman wife of John, a motorman and former Patrolman. Mrs Jonas was the widow of John Jonas, She came to this country at an young age and was the mother of five children all living in Williamsport. They are Mrs Jacob Buckler, Mrs John Bornman, Mrs T N Smith, Fred Jonas and John Jonas.
