Birth: unknown Death: Dec. 2, 1998 NEW PHILADELPHIA -- Mary Lou Meek, 68, 6708 Ripley Road, NE, formerly of Sugarcreek, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Morning View Care Center, after a one-year illness. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Hill United Methodist Church in Sugarcreek, with the Rev. Jim Gibbons officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. The family requests contributions be made to Union Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving are children, Linda (Tim) Northrop of New Philadelphia and John (Karen) Meek of Sugarcreek; five grandsons; and sisters, Carrie Mutschelknaus of Sugarcreek, Helen Fairley of Baltimore, Md., Grace Barber of Florida, and Freda Hostetler of Millersburg.
