Robert L. DUNFEE

Birth: Dec. 15, 1934 Death: Apr. 29, 2006 Robert L. Dunfee, 71 of Little Hocking, Ohio died April 29, 2006 at his residence. He was born at Little Hocking, Ohio on December 15, 1934 and was the son of the late Lloyd E. and Martha Giddings Dunfee. He retired from the Elkem Corp following 31 years of service. He built houses, loved gardening, and especially loved growing tomatoes. He had been trustee and caretaker of the Newbury Cemetery, Little Hocking for several years. He took great pride in his family and loved to go to his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by wife of 53 years, Pat Dunfee, his two sons and their wives, Robert L. Jr. and Judy Dunfee of Little Hocking, William D. and Kathy Dunfee of Veto, his daughter and her husband, Janine and Russ Kern of Little Hocking, five grandchildren, Nic, Ryan, Daniel, Andrew Dunfee, and Allyssa Kern, and his aunt, Mary Massey of Belpre, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Ruth Lemley. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Robin Swinsburg officiating. Burial will follow in the Newbury Cemetery, Little Hocking, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
