Birth: Jun. 3, 1913 Frost Athens County Ohio, USA Death: Jan. 9, 2005 Athens Athens County Ohio, USA Ray Harold Dunfee, 91, of Coolville, Ohio, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, Ohio. He was born June 3, 1913, in Frost, Ohio, a son of the late Alexander and Isadora Frost Dunfee. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He graduated from Coolville High School in 1931. He retired as a locomotive engineer and locomotive crane operator for Union Carbide in 1977. He was a member of the American Legion Post 64 of Marietta and a member of the Coolville United Methodist Church. He is survived by a stepson, Jack Blue; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lulu Belle Deeter Blue Dunfee; two brothers, Wade Dunfee and Dale Dunfee; five sisters, Rosa Belle Lindberg, Mabel Shears, Nellie Randolph, Edith Boyd and Gladys Dunfee; and a stepdaughter, Juanita Epling. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, with the Rev. Helen Kline officiating. Burial will be in the Weatherby Cemetery, Coolville.
