Aus dem zeitlichen Zusammenhang kann es sich bei ihm weder, wie von Jansen angenommen um einen Sohn, noch wie von Menghin dargestellt, um einen Urenkel König Audoins handeln, sondern viel wahrscheinlicher um einen Enkel.
