The evening was spent in playing pinochle, music and in social conversation. Mabel Hunter was awarded high score and Leo Dressler awarded high score and Leo Dressler consolation score prize. Lunch was served at a late hour. Frieda, may this birthday bring you happiness in abundance and may the cup of sorrow be brim full of sweetness. Ellsworth Reporter Oct. 1935: Shower for Miss Frieda Kottmann Honoring Miss Frieda Kottmann with a miscellaneous shower given by Mrs. L. W. Dressler, Mrs. Herman Kottmann and Miss Merne Hunter at the home of Mrs. August Kottmann on Last Wednesday afternoon. The guest arrived at one-thirty and pleasantly surprised Miss Kottmann. The afternoon was spent in sewing and writing recipes for the bride-to-be. After the gifts were unwrapped and looked over a delicious lunch was served of peach cake a la mode, coffee and hot chocolate. The guest list included Mesdames Anna Kottmann, Harry Moyer, Jack Vague, Harry Feldkamp, Edmond Shannon, F. H. Bettenbrock, Frank Howard, A. R. Vague, W. H.
