Julius Koth of Hanover died Wednesday morning, February 14, at 6 o'clock, at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 24 days. He was born March 20,1845, at Falkenhagen, Province Pommern, in Germany.
When he was eleven years old, his father died, and five years later, his mother. At the age of 26 he came to Chicago. Here on the 28th of May,1876, he was married to Miss Augusta Zwemke.
Twenty-seven years later he came to Iowa, became a member of the GermanLutheran church, which had just been organized. In general he enjoyedgood health, until about three years ago when he had three operations performed with great success.
. He is survived by a wife and ten children and many relatives. The funeral was held from the German Lutheran church at Hanover, last Sunday morning at 10 o'clock.
