PAULLINA, Iowa - Edna W. Fiddelke, 77, of Paullina died Friday, June 5,1998, at the Orange City Municipal Hospital in Orange City, Iowa.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina, with the Rev. Steven Hayden and the Rev. David Daumer officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery. Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home of Paullina is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Fiddelke was born July 6, 1920, near Calumet, Iowa, the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Walters) Runge. She attended country school and Paullina High School.
She married Hugo Fiddelke on Nov. 1, 1940, in Paullina. The couple madetheir home in Paullina. He died Feb. 6, 1954, in Paullina.
She was employed as a cook at Zion Lutheran School for many years. Shewas later employed at Brink's Hardware, Dr. Schiltz Dental office and before retiring, Shirk's Pharmacy.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Dorcas ofthe church.
Survivors include three sons, Fred and his wife Kathy of Atlantic, Iowa, John and his special friend Jean Bonacci of DePere, Wis. and Mike andhis wife Michele of Orange City; a daughter, Nancy Kilgore and her special friend Robert Brown of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Ella Menke of Hartley, Iowa and Alva Stoever of Paullina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and Fritz;and two sisters, Dora and Meta.
