Bergmannund Pumpenmacher an der im Böddestal befindlichen Bleihütte.
Im Urkataster der Gemeinde Saalhausen aus dem Jahr 1832 wird diese Örtlichkeit auch als
"an den Buchen" bezeichnet. Laut Robert Rameil, meint diese Bezeichnung eigendlich "an der Puche"
und deute auf ein Puchwerk, eine Bleihütte zur Zerkleinerung von Eisenerz, welches weiter oben aus dem Berg Auregang gefördert wurde.
