He was married to Miss Susan Peaters, March 4th, 1813… Bro. Slipp professed the religion of Christ, and was baptized by Elder S. Hartt about the year 1833, and united with the 2d Free C. Baptist Church in Hampstead, of which he remained a consistent and worthy member till his death… having lived in this world 72 years and 11 months. The funeral services were attended at the Free C. Baptist Meeting-house in Upper Hampstead, October 13th, by a large and attentive audience… A. Taylor. Campobellow, Nov. 3d, 1860 |
