He was born on April 19, 1934 a son of Woodrow and Dorothy (Dodson) Cantrell in Battle Creek. On August 20, 1955 he married Joan V. Rocho in Battle Creek; together they shared 60 wonderful years. He served his country in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. Bob worked at Kellogg Company as a Unitizer Operator retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Kellogg 25 year club. Bob enjoyed gambling, playing cards, traveling, leather work, collecting cowboy hats, belt buckles, cars, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.Surviving Bob are his wife Joan V. Cantrell of Ceresco, daughters, Pamela Lynne Bennett of Battle Creek, Polly Anna Cantrell of Battle Creek, grandchildren, Ashley Cantrell, Lauren LeClear, Robert Woodrow Cantrell - Purucker, Angel Moore, Kenneth Decker II, Douglas Michael Decker, 9 great grandchildren, brother William (Virginia) Cantrell, sisters, Mary Robbins, Barbara (William) Wilkey. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Jim Robbins.Relatives and friends will be received from 3-5 PM on Monday March 7, 2016 at the Kempf Family Funeral Home, Marshall Chapel 723 Old US 27 N. Marshall, MI. A Funeral service celebrating the life of Bob will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday March 8, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Battle Creek.
