Officier de l'armée autrichienne.
Im Jahre 1704 eroberte Georg mit 1800 Mann die strategisch wichtige Festung Gibraltar im Handstreich und verteidigte sie gegen eine Belagerungdurch spanisch-französische Truppen. Er nahm an der Belagerung Barcelonas teil. Dort fiel er am 13. September 1705 beim Sturm auf das Fort Montjuïc (Castell de Montjuïc).
