He was the eldest son. Templar.
He was knighted prior to becoming the 1st Lord Seton and was the firstever and first created Scottish Lord of Parliament, which made the Lord's Seton the Premier Baron's of Scotland.
NOTE: Possibly in the Tower of London for 4 years, as a prisoner afterthe battle of Homildon Hill in 1402.Her purchased the wardship and marriage of Elizabeth Gordon fromWalter de Haliburton of Dirleton, and thenmarried her to hissecond son Alexander.
