Es handelt sich um einen Urban Sobolus, der 1628 an der Univ. Frankf./O. immatrikuliert wird.
Das ist der jüngere der beiden überlebenden Söhne des ält. Joh. Sobolus (s. Anm. zum ält. Joh. Sobolus; da 1628 Student, könnte er das 1609 geb. Kind sein, dessen Austragung die Mutter das Leben gekostet hat, s. ihre Lpr.).
Er scheint mir identisch mit dem "ehrwürdige(n) und wohl gelehrte(n) Herr(n) Urbanus Sobell", der am 1.(?) Nov. 1634 in der Frankfurter Unterkirche (St. Nicolai) eine Tochter Ursula taufen läßt.
Von 1632 bis zu seinem Tod 1638 war er Pfarrer in Frankf./Oder (so Otto Fischer: Ev. Pfarrerbuch für die Mark Brandenburg ..., Bd. 2 (Verz. der Geistl.) S. 635).
