Imm Frankf./Oder 1587, als "doctoris Michaelis filius" (Friedlaender, Matr. Frankfurt, Bd. 1 S.329). Da es einen andern Dr. Michael B. damals nicht gab, muß der Vater ihn also wohl ganz kurz nach der Geburt angemeldet haben. Auch in den !Genealogischen Mappenstücken" 16042 (Bolfras) wird er als Sohn dieses Michael angeführt, desgleichen in der Lpr. auf Ave Bolfras geb. Schwartz (s. dort): ihr Enkel Friedrich, Sohn des Michael, sei kürzlich in Basel JUD geworden.
Daß er 1613 an der Pest gestorben ist, steht in der Leichenpredigt für den jüngeren Michael B. von 1635.
