| Description | Die Familie ist um 1520-1525 in die Grafschaft Erbach gekommen. Sie hat sich von dort aus über 500 Jahre hauptsächlich im Odenwald und entlang der nördlichen Bergstraße ausgebreitet. Der Zweig meiner Mutter (Class) lässt sich bis 1580 von Darmstadt über das Elsass zurück bis Isny/Allgäu zurückverfolgen. Ich versuche auch mehr noch über die Familie Rippert vor 1500 in Erfahrung zu bringen. Vieles deutet auf Verbindungen nach Südfrankreich hin, wo der Name bis 1100 nachweisbar ist.
