Bei der US Volkszählung Kenosha, Wisconsin 1880 heißt er plötzlich "Peter" und ist angeblich 32 Jahre alt. Das - zumindest letzteres - kann nicht stimmen. Die Ehefrau heißt hier "Lana" (1870: Lena), der Rest der Familie bis Kind Nicholas ist gleich wie 1870. Vom Alter her sind die Kinder alle 10 Jahre älter als 1870. Es ist also davon auszugehen, dass es sich um die gleiche Familie handelt. Möglicherweise hieß Johann Willems auch Johann Peter Willems, wenn auch die übrigen Quellen dafür nichts hergeben.
