She was born February 16, 1925 in Cincinnati, OH to Dr. Henry and Eva (Eid) Gruener. Martie's husband, Robert L. Crone, predeceased her. They had been married for 63 years. Survived by her sister, Mariann Wampler, three daughters, Barbara Feldmann of Centerville, Kathy (Bill) Seip of NJ and Patty (Mark) Rye of WI; seven grandchildren, Michele (Bryan) Mazey, Matt (Amanda) Feldmann, Amy (Brad) Kleman, Jackie Seip, Diane (Wade) Getsinger, Katie (Jeff) Kaszubowski, Christina Rye; great grandchildren, Natalie and Logan Mazey, Millie, Myles and Maevery Feldmann and Liam Getsinger. Martie graduated from Walnut Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She taught at St. Dominic School in Delhi and St. Charles Borromeo in Kettering for 26 years. She was a long-time member of the Church of the Incarnation. Mom's favorite things were family, friends, and filling the home with love and laughter. A visitation will beheld on Monday, May 19, at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., in Centerville from 10:30 to 11:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30. Martie will be buried in the familyplot at St. Stephens Cemetery in Ft. Thomas, KY.
