| Otto A . Jochum, Sr, verstarb am Sonntag, den 28 Januar 1996 um 18:30 Uhr im Alter von 82 Jahren im St Joseph's Hospital in Huntingburg. Er wurde am 7 Januar 1914 in St. Henry als Sohn von George undCatherine (Buening) Jochum geboren. Am 27 April 1937 heiratete er Emma Brinkman in der St. Ferdinand Kirche Er war ein pensionierter Landwirt und ehemaliger Mitarbeiter der D.M.I. Seine Mitgliedschaften umfassten die St Mary's Catholic Church, die Heilige-Namen-Gesellschaft und den Huntingburg Conservation Club. Vor ihm starben eine kleine Tochter, Mary Ann, und ein Sohn, David; vier Brüder, Edward, Robert, Benno und Martin Jochum und zwei Schwestern, Catherine und Emma Jochum. Er hinterlässt seine Frau Emma Jochum aus Ferdinand; acht Töchter, Schwester Mary Emma Jochum, OSB aus Tell City,Mrs. Edward (Joann) Spilly aus Louisville, Mrs. Leroy (Darlene) Jerger aus Jasper, Mrs. Donald (Bernice) Stalbaum aus Bloomingdale, Mrs. Ron (Jeannie) Haynes aus Louisville, Lucy Estabrook aus Santa Claus, Mrs. Ken (Julia) Balbach aus Evansville, Mrs. Kevin (Kathy) McAtee aus Chandler, Arizona; drei Söhne, George und Otto Jr., beide aus Ferdinand und James aus Fairfield; 21 Enkelkinder und und 3Ur-Enkelkinder. Die Trauerfeier für Otto Jochum, Sr. fand am Mittwoch in der katholischen Kirche St. Mary's statt, gefolgt von der Beisetzung auf dem Friedhof der Kirche. Das Beerdigungsunternehmen Nass & Sohn aus Huntingburg kümmerte sich um alle Vorbereitungen. Gedenkspenden können an die Schwestern des Heiligen Benedikt in Ferdinand geleistet werden. | |
