Notes for this person
Jeremias Naumann, war Pfarrer in Schweta bei Oschatz. Er heiratete 1592, 1595 und 1597 jeweils Pfarrerstöchter, aber alle drei Frauen starben nach kurzer Zeit, wohl sämtlich "in Kindesnöthen". "Weil aber die Haushaltung der Schweter Pfarre nothwendig eine getreue Gehülfin erforderte, so mußte er zur 4then Heyrath schreiten." Durch das Erbteil seiner Frau aus ihrer ersten Ehe wurde Jeremias Naumann recht begütert, denn in dem Oschatzer Gerichtsbuch Hr.66 (im Staatsarchiv Dresden) istverzeichnet, dass er an verschiedene Oschatzer Bürger Geld verlieh.
