Wohnt seit 1787 auf dem Nikolaikirchhofe Ecke Ritterstr. (Im dezember1786 kaufte er das Haus für 3300 Taler, wovon er 1300 sofort bezahlt,den rest bis Michaelis 1789 abzuzahlen versprach. in seinen eigenen Haus später in Nr.760 Bis 1757 war er Lehrling in Leipzig, dann ging er auf Wanderschaft undarbeitete in Nürnberg, Augsburg und London. 1761 arbeitete er mit an den zur Traung von Georg III und Gemahlin Charlotte von Mecklenburg -Strelitz verfertigten Kronen und übrigen Schmucksachen. 1763 kehrte er nach Leipzig zurück wurde hier Meister und heiratete 27.01.1765 Johanna Christina von Ryssel
