Hans XIII. zweiter Sohn, studierte in Wittenberg, reisete nach Italienund hielt sich eine Zeitlang in Padua auf. Nach seines Vaters Tode fiel ihm in der Erbtheilung das zu 14000 Thlr. angeschlagene Gut Chemnitz nebst Pertinentien zu. Er war erzbischöflich magdeburgischer, hernach kursächsicher Rath, auch Hauptmann zu Dahme und Jüterbog, und ist inPlessow beigesetzt. Als 1831 das unter dem Altar der dortigen Kirchebefindliche Erbbegräbniß geöffnet wurde, fand sich unter Trümmern vonSärgen das von dem seinigen herrührende wohlerhaltene Schild mit demRochowschen Wappen und den Buchstaben D. v. R. "Nachrichten zur Geschichte des Geschlechts derer von Rochow und ihrerBesitzungen von Adolph Friedrich August von Rochow, Berlin 1861"
