<p>1855 Abitur, dann Militär, 1857 Leutnant,</p>
<p>Trat als Major 1877 aus der Armee aus.</p>
<p>Zog 1882 auf Schloss Leerodt, erbte Leerodt und Opheim 1884.</p>
<p>Um den Namen Leerodt zu erhalten, durfte er sich auf sein Gesuch an König/Kaiser Wilhelm I 1885 "Freiherr Schütz von Leerodt"</p>
<p>nennen.</p>

Mit seinem Tod 1953 ging der Besitz Leerodt auf Hans-Egon Freiherr Schütz von Leerodt-Wrede über."</span></p>
