Rat zu Neuenstein, dort Secretarius 1563, später Kanzleirat, Kanzlei-Direktor; ab 1569 bewohnt er das Anwesen Schlossstr. 23/25, das ihm von der gräfl. Herrschaft als Anerkennung seiner Dienste geschenkt worden war; wurde mit dem Entwurf für ein Hohenlohisches Landrecht betraut, dessen ersten Teil er 1579 fertigstellt; auch an der neuen Kapitel-, Visitations- u. Konsistorial-Ordnung von 1579 sowie an der Kirchenordnung von 1582 ist er maßgeblich beteiligt; (auch: *1536/1536)
