auch: KRATZMAYER, Balthas; "Die Tochter Margarete des Kunstschreiners Adolf Daur (1498-1558) hatte sich mit dem Kunstschreiner Balthasar Krezmaier vermählt, der beim Bau des Lusthauses in Stuttgart tätig war [1592 beim Innenausbau des neuen Lusthauses]. Eine ganze Dynastie von Baumeistern u. Künstlern vor allem in Württ. leitet sich von ihm her. Neun Söhne, Enkel u. Urenkel haben sich als Werkmeister, Bildschnitzer, Goldschmiede u. Feuerwerker einen Namen gemacht. Der Sohn Johann d.Ä. wurde als der 'Archimedes unseres Vaterlandes' gerühmt"; Geburtsort vermutet ("der Ulmer Meister Balthasar Kretzmaier präsentierte 1577 in Stuttgart ein Holzmodell für ein Denkmal, das Herzogin Anna Maria darstellen sollte")
