Laeger, 74, Kulm, ND, died Tuesday, may 3, 2005, at his home.</p></p><p><p>&nbsp;</p></p><p><p>Mr. Laeger was borne June 13, 1930, in rural Dickey County near Kulm, ND, the son of August and Helena (Hildebrand) Laeger. He grew up on the family farm and received his education in rural German Township schools. He lived and farmed with his family. He married Alice McCone on June 12, 1955, at Mandan, ND. They lived and farmed on the Laeger family farm until they retired in 1993. He farmed with his son, Don, after he retired. He was a member of Kulm MethodistChurch, where he also served on the church board. He had been a member of a barbershop quartet and bowling team.He served on the FHA board for a number of years, Farm Burea Board for several years, waws a 4-H leader for many years and served on the lumberyard board. He enjoyed fishing, music and dancing.</p></p><p><p>&nbsp;</p></p><p><p>He is survived by his wife; two sons; Jerry (Carla), Bismarck, ND, and Don (Tam)., Fredonia, ND, a daughter, Mary Alice (Jeff) Laeger-Hagemeister, Albert Lea, Minn; a sister, Bernice Gackle, Kulm; and six grandchildren.</p></p><p><p>&nbsp;</p></p><p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents.</p></p><p><p>&nbsp;</p></p><p><p>Services: 10:30 a.m. today, First Congregational Church, Kulm. Arrangements by Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm.</p></p><p>Burial: Kulm Congregational Cemetry, Kulm.</p>
