vorehelich geboren; Name auch Meiderich. - Nach X130218-01: Nicolaus is the common ancestor of the Miedreich families that emigrated to Indiana between 1852 and 1880, settling for the most part in Wabash and Evansville. He may be the ""Nikol Mydreich"" cited in Engel's History of Rockenhausen as receiving payment for ringing the bells for the festival in 1814.
