In den 1840/50er Jahren lebte sie in Dannenberg. "Sie war mit ihrem 14jährigen Neffen Carl Niemeyer, dem Sohn von August Wilhelms jüngeren Bruder Georg, nach dem Ende 1843 erfolgten Tode seiner Mutter von Springe zu dem Neffen Wilhelm Niemeyer gezogen und blieb in dessen Hause bis zu ihrem Tode - 12. Januar 1848. Eine innige Freundschaft verband die Familien des Oheims und des Neffen." (Geschichte des hannoverschen Geschlechtes Niemeyer, 2. Band, Theodor Niemeyer, 1969, SS. 243-244).
