Arived U.S. 1869 at age 6 with his parents who farmed nearFranklin Iowa, moved to Plymouth Iowa in 1871. In Aug, 1874 he& his father homesteaded N.W. of Inman KS. In 1872 they wentback to Iowa and brought the family.
