<p>Harold K. Peters, 84, of Inman, died Nov. 30, 2012, at Hospice House in Hutchinson.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Harold was born Sept. 15, 1928, in rural Rice County, Kansas, the son of Claus K. and Martha Klassen Peters.</p>
<p></p>
<p>He attended schools in Rice County and was a retired farmer. He had also worked as a machinist at Wilson Machine and at Geis Irrigation, setting up irrigation systems.</p>
<p></p>
<p>He married Juanita E. Postier on Nov. 22, 1952, in McPherson. Juanita survives.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Other survivors include: five sons, Dale E. Peters and wife Nina, Hutchinson, Robert A. Peters and wife Margaret, Meeker, Okla., John L. Peters and wife Betty, Waynesville, Mo., H. Kenneth Peters,Hutchinson, and Daniel L. Peters and wife Marsha, Sterling; two daughters, Linda F. Jones and husband Glendon, Hutchinson, and Mary L. Crumble, Wichita; two brothers, Abe Peters and wife Ellen, Greensburg, and Ernest Peters and wife Alvina, Goddard; two sisters, Kathryn Miller, and Esther Postier, both of Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, George, Ed, Harvey, and Richard, and three sisters, Helen, Emma, and Martha.

<p>Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Jim Rhaesa presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Inman Cemetery, Inman.
