1636 am 15. oder 16. August wurde Johann Thamerus die Vokation zum Burscheider Pfarrer zugestellt. Dieses Schreiben ging im Dezember 1637 bei der Einäscherung des Wiedenhofes durch lothringischeTruppen verloren.
Am 3. Juni 1647 wird Thamerus daher eine neue Berufungsurkunde ausgestellt, die von zahlreichen Gemeindemitgliedern unterschrieben wurde, auch von Peter Liesendhall, Sohn von Jan Spitze.
