1378 hat er mit anderen Häuptlingen das Kloster Dykhusen bei Visquard gestiftet und dort Schwestern aus Reide eingesetzt. Seine Burg zu Faldern wurde durch Hisko von Emden zerstört.
Er hatte ererbte Güter zu Bomborg und im Hatzumer Hamrich.
Hisko Abdena ließ ihn als Greis, laut Emmius noch zu Okko tom Broks Lebzeiten, hinrichten. Andere sagen, daß er 1408 noch lebte.
Houtrouw nennt ihn Haro Okken.
Wappen: zwei Lilien nebeneinander.
