Wappen (1377): ein Löwe. Helmzier: ein doppelter Adlerkopf. Noch sein Enkel Egge nutzte das Siegel mit dem Löwenwappen.
Er wird 1391 im Rheiderland genannt als einer der Schlichter eines Streits zwischen den Bewohnern von Rheiderland und Oldambt. Später zog er nach Westerwolde.
