HANS BROCKMAN (1860)

Hans Brockman was born in Prasdorf, Germany, July 25, 1829. He arrived in

Colorado in the summer of 1860.

He married Catrina Stroben, who was born in Germany, May 10, 1830, at

Davenport, Iowa, in 1851.

Mr. Brockman died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Laura C. Woodard, near

Ramah, Colorado, March 26, 1921.

Mrs. Brockman died at her home on Bijon, May 10, 1889.

James F. Woodard, age 71, husband of Mrs. Laura C. Woodard, ranchman and

pioneer of Pikes Peak region, died at the home of a niece at Colorado Springs,

October 1929. He had resided in the region more than half a century.
