Brockmann, Karl Heinrich, als Sohn des Hauptmanns B. auf Wulften 1808 geb., studierte und promovierte 1829 mit der Diss. »De mydriaticis« in Göttingen, war Bergphysikus seit 1832, seit 1836 in Klausthal, seit 1839 Hofmedikus, seit 1853 Med-Rat, 1875 Kreisphysikus, 1885 Geh. Sanitätsrat, 1886 pensioniert und starb 9. Aug. 1888. Er schrieb: »Die metallurgischen Krankheiten des Oberharzes« (Osterode[1936] 1851) – »Die Kuranstalt zu Grund am Harz. Nach ihrer therap. Bedeutung dargestellt« (Ib. 1856).
