Elsie Brockmann
MONEE - Elsie Brockmann, 95, of Monee, died today (Feb. 17, 1998) at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet.
Visitaiton will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Fedde-Helfrich Chapel, Peotone, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Robert Hurst will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Monee.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ or to Eastern Will County Senior Services where she held memberships.
She was born Sept. 9, 1902 in Joliet, the daughter of Menno and Anna Stassen. Her husband, George, whom she married May 3, 1923, died in 1959.
Surviving are one daughter-in-law, Marjorie Brockmann of Frankfort; one granddaughter and one grandson, Linda and Norbert G. Brockmann.
Also deceased are her son, Norbert Brockmann in 1988 and two brothers, Emil and Walter.
She was a member of her church's Women Guild.
