MINA E. BROOKMANN
Mina E Brookmann was born on 17 April 1871 to Friedrich Conrad Brockmann and Christina Charlotte Wilhelmine Jerabele Lehmann in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. "Minnie" convinced her father to let her get married to William Poke before she turned 18 because he signed a Permission for her to wed. They were married in her home at 264 Southern Avenue on 14 March 1889.
Nine months later in December , Minnie and William had a son, Friedrick, who died at four months. On 16 April 1891 they had a daughter, Wilhelmina. Minnie herself died ten days after having given birth. She had just turned 20 years old.
