The Daily Mail Tribune 7 January 1901 .. Aged Lady Dead ... Mrs Brackman Passed Away at Her Home on Baines Street Yesterday Morning ... Mrs. Letitia L. Brackman, wife of Wm. Brackman, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Geary, Sunday morning at twenty-five minutes after one o'clock. Deceased was 86 yrears and 4 months old. She had suffered from cancer on her mouth for thirty years. She leaves six children, daughters, Mrs Vaughan, Mrs. W. A. Fisher, Mrs. J. C. Saunders, Mrs. William Geary and two sons, David Brackman and Frank Brackman. All were at her bedside when she passed away except Mrs. Vaughan, whose home is in Greenbrier county. The funeral service will be held at her late home 460 Baines street this afternoon at 2 o'clock. ... The Daily Mail Tribune 8 January 1901 ... Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock , over the remains of Mrs. Letitia L. Brackman, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Geary, on Baines street, by Rev. W. I. Canter, pastor of the M. E. Church, South. The remains were laid to rest in Spring Hill cemetery.
