Ernest L. Brookman

Ernest L. Brookman, 79, of West Fourth St., Fostoria, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at his home.

He was born July 24, 1925, in Arcadia, to the late Ada and Elizabeth (Thomas) Brookman. On Aug. 5, 1950, in Tiffin, he married Nadine R. (Bintz) Brookman who survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are: three daughters, Nancy Slayter of Williamsburg, Va., Becky Hunsaker of Van Buren and Connie Lucas of Findlay; a brother, Marion Brookman of Fostoria; and two sisters, Florence Shumaker and Norma Watson, both of Fostoria.

Mr. Brookman was a World War II U.S Navy veteran.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Burial will be in Arcadia Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
