Spartanburg Herald-Journal: "Former Sheriff dies at 92

Former Spartanburg County Sheriff B.B. Brockman, died yesterday

at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was 92. A native of

Spartanburg County, Belton Bryant Brockman of 118 Penarth Road,

"He was one of the most fearless sheriffs I have ever known," said

He wanted to be sure a person was guilty before he was arrested."
